Wow! It has been a while since our last post. The past 3 months since launch of the service has been quite an experience. A lot of ups, lot of downs...
We have spent countless hours and restless nights to stabilize the system, provide faster service, fix many bugs within the software, implement client enhancements/requests, respond to support queries, enhance the usability of the service and many more...all for what we believe in: IREMOTEPC :)

The service is tightly integrated with iRemotePC, which means that all iRemotePC users automatically have access to the Remote Support service features without any extra hassles. The Remote Support service allows users to gain control of a client's PC without installing any software on the remote side. The recipient is not required to be an iRemotePC^TM user as well! This Remote Support service is perfect for helpdesk/support professionals, training clients remotely or just remotely support your friends or family PCs. Many users have reported problems with iRemotePC connections and its ability to traverse through HTTP Proxy servers. We have been enhancing our host and client applications to make it compatible with the proxy servers. The enhancement has been successfully completed and currently in a testing phase. iRemotePC will support HTTP Proxy Server and SOCKS4/5 proxy servers as well. Our compilation engineers should roll the next version (which includes proxy-support) between the 1st - 2nd week of April 2007, hopefully sooner...we will make a post on this blog of the release in any case.

iRemotePC Launches Full Version product.
Due to the overwhelming demand and as a strong believer in free services - iRemotePC offers Free Remote Desktop and File Transfer service for life for up to 2 PCs (a perfect combination of Home/Office PC). Free users will enjoy full screen 32 bit remote desktop control of their remote PCs and they can easily benefit from the File Transfer feature w/ sync support and the ability to transfer files between local and remote PCs from any web-browser. Premium users will enjoy unlimited Guest invites to PCs for presentations/demos and receive exclusive Direct desktop file sharing feature where recipients can stream files directly out of user's PCs without the need to upload or send large emails.

We have just launched version 1.3 of iRemotePC. As you may have noticed, we have re-vamped our complete website for a better look...we hope you like it :) It is critical that you install this particular version since it contains major security-related patches.
